Daily Mood Alert and Food/Fitness: Tues, May 15

It is an odd couple of days of wildlife.

I found this guy on our front porch.  ACTUALLY on the porch.  THANK GOD the dogs never saw him.  He hopped away before I could get a good picture.

This guy appeared on my car in the garage about 30 seconds after I pulled in from lunch.  I saw him later near the trash cans.

Mood:  Not too bad, IF I could get my work colleague to call me back.

Food:  Breakfast was coffee and a protein bar.  Lunch was soup and crusty bread at Panera’s (YUM!).  Then I had a few strawberries, some carrots and a trail mix bar.  Dinner will be a Cinnamon Crunch bagel from Panera’s while I am volunteering at PetsMart.

Fitness:  I ran 3 miles on the treadmill this morning.  I am still following my Faster 5k plan and need to get all of my mileage in before Sat.

I just remembered that I didn’t take any pictures for WIAW.

Daily Mood Alert and Food/Fitness: Mon, May 14

imageMood:  Annoyed.  The dogs are bored cause it has been raining all day.  So I am cooking and then we are going out to see The Avengers.

Food:  Breakfast was coffee and a protein bar.  Lunch was egg beaters and an english muffin.  Then there were carrots, an apple and some strawberries.  And I am going to do my best with this for dinner: Cajun Chicken Pasta Recipe – Allrecipes.com.  And now there will be POPCORN!!!!!

Fitness:  This morning was the first day of a Faster 5k program that runs 5 weeks.  So it was speedwork.  6×400 @ faster than race pace.  I got through it!  Worked hard on the treadmill.  It felt good to push like that.

Daily Mood Alert and Food/Fitness: Thurs, May 3

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!  Just a shout out to her.

Our roses have gone insane this year.  Especially the white ones.  I can’t seem to grow anything else but my roses do just fine!

Mood:  Annoyed earlier but fine now.  Just wondering what I am going to do with my evening since Michael is tied up at a city council meeting.

Food: Breakfast was coffee and a protein bar.  Lunch was a BLT, fries and slaw.  And ranch dressing.  It was YUMMO!  Had an apple.  And some carrots.  Not sure about dinner yet.  I am trying to lure J out for $4 wine night.

Fitness:  NONE.  After last nights apparent meltdown (physically) at tennis, I took today off.  Heat.  Humidity. Dehydrated.  Take your pick.  It was awful.

 

Daily Mood Alert and Food/Fitness: Wed, May 2

someecards.com - Let's make up for Cinco de Mayo being on a Saturday by starting our celebration on Wednesday.Which is why we are going out for Mexican food tonight after tennis.

Mood:  BORED.  Can I say that again?  BORED

Food: Boring day of coffee, smoothie, leftover pork chop and corn, strawberries, carrots, pudding.  I will have an english muffin before tennis.  A few gummy bears during tennis.  And then Mexican food later.

Fitness:  I got through 4 SLOW miles at the gym this morning. And playing singles tonight.

Daily Mood Alert and Food/Fitness: Tues, May 1

Michael NEVER asks me to put anything on the blog.  He doesn’t even read it.  But he took it upon himself to make cookies last night (AND cleaned up!) and he said I should put it on the blog.  So here it is.  They are Linzer cookies that have some kind of jam in the middle.  He was VERY proud.  He took the picture.  See, his skills are just about as good as mine at picture taking.

Daily Mood:  Pretty good.  Got some errands done this morning.  Have PetsMart tonight.  Storms are coming though which is freaking out the dog.

Food:  Day 3 of Vacation Detox is going well.  The Keurig decided it needed to be descaled so I went out for coffee.  Then had my typical egg beaters, turkey sausage and english muffin for lunch.  And an apple.  I have been snacking on strawberries and carrots all afternoon.  There was a jello pudding as well.  I have a pork chop in the wings for dinner.  With some sort of veggie.

Fitness:  I ran for the first time in 2 weeks!  4 miles and I will say I ran most of it.  It felt hard.  But of course it did, after two weeks.
