Sunday: PF and Spying

My foot was still an issue this morning (plantar fasciitis?) so I headed out on my bike  The wind was VICSIOUS.  It was also my first time with a bottle holder on my bike. So I filled up my bottle with Vino (or was it Propel) and took it with me.  I am proud to say I did manage to drink while riding and not fall over.

Bike: 10 miles / 56:00

When we sold our house in NC and relocated, we didn’t know where we wanted to settle or even where Michael would be working. So I found a house with a yard to yet.  We figured we would use the lease time to figure out location and replenish our bank accounts.  Well, now we know we love this are and that Michael’s commute is manageable.  And we would like to stay close to where we are now.

I am obsessed with Zillow, Looking at what houses are available, the pictures, the prices, etc.  Even looking at the house we are in now, our neighbors and the neighborhood.  It is a great way to familiarize yourself with the inventory, the market and what we can expect next summer when we may look to buy something.

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.

  1. I LOOOOVE looking at houses too! I wish so badly that we could buy right now but realistically it will probably be a couple years for us which i suppose is ok 🙂 but i still love drooling over houses!! since i work in insurance and do a lot of home insurance i get to look at a ton of people’s appraisals when they buy houses and it is weirdly one of my favorite parts haha

  2. i love going on zillow too and checking out people i know houses, i feel like im spying on them. totally doesnt stop me.
