Thursday: Coop and Carbs

I have to start with this…..I LOVE Anderson Cooper.  I did before today. But today, he made me love him even more. Star Jones tried to say he came out for ratings. He took exception with it and aired it on his show.  LOVE it.  If you haven’t seen it, give it a watch.

I COMPLETELY disagree with Star.  Anderson wasn’t even in the country when the email was posted on Andrew’s blog.  And he never did a single interview or article about it.  He has lived his life in the open to those that know him and to the rest, it was really none of our business.  I respect that.

Today a did a short 2-mile test of the new Brooks Pure Flow kicks.  I like them so far.   Only time, and miles, will really tell.  But so far, the reviews are good.

I still haven’t decided which race to run on Sat, but that didn’t stop me from beginning the carb loading portion of the program.

An english muffin for breakfast, waffles with pb for lunch.  And dinner was a pork chop, baked potato and corn.  There was also a peach and a dark chocolate sea salt Kind bar.

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
