Regarding: Quiet and Choices - Let's kick off spring by sitting in a dark theater watching teenagers murder each otherThat has been a quiet couple of days. Sorry about that. I just couldn’t get to the computer to let you all know.  Nothing is wrong.  Just busy.

Ok.  Who is braving the movie theaters this weekend?  I am not sure we will get there this weekend with all the MADNESS surrounding the Hunger Games. But we will get there soon.

Michael’s car is on deaths door.  It has been a good car for over 10 years and 188k miles. So maybe it is time. When I totaled my car last year (before you all knew me), I KNEW I wanted another VW.  But what does Michael do?  Decides he wants an Audi.  He had never even BEEN in an Audi.  Or driven one.  So why is he is fixated on an Audi? Who knows?  At least sit in one first.  Or drive one.  Just watch…John (the mechanic) will find a way to fix the car.   In the meantime, I am his personal shuttle bus.

What else.  Today is Friday, right?  Which means food.  I will figure that out later.

What are you plans for the weekend?

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
