Daily Mood Alert and Food/Fitness: Tues, Feb 21
Good news from the Ortho doc today. He said I am “fixed”. Or at least for now. Not a bad way to start the day.
And just in time. T-4 days until the Arizona Half Marathon. WAHOO!!!! There is nothing else I can really do to be better prepared for this race. I know what I need to do. End of story. We will even be volunteering at packet pickup. Nothing like a little good race karma.
Food: You will see it all in pictures tomorrow (YES! I took pictures). Breakfast was coffee and protein bar. Lunch was egg beaters, turkey sausage and an english muffin. Snack was an apple and some carrots. Dinner will be steak and some sort of potato. There is also an orange and a nectarine. Fruit/Fiber fast after today.
Fitness: Nothing today just due to schedule. I am going to try and get a workout/short run into tomorrow before heading to the airport.
WATER WATER WATER. That desert is awfully dehydrating!
