Long Run Saturday….

27235 Weather Forecast and ConditionsIs a no-go.  By walking 5 miles on Wed, I tore up my right foot.  So I will rest it and long run Saturday will move to Monday.  And since the race is a week away, I am not sure how long the long run should or will be.  Why not Sunday, you might ask?

Yup, look at that forecast for tomorrow.  After the mildest winter EVER, it says possible snow tomorrow.  And rain.  No thank you.

Yesterday was Michael’s birthday and he wanted to celebrate with the Cheesecake Factory and the hockey game.  So off we went.  Thanks to the neighbor for checking in on the dogs.  Cheesecake Factory was a happening place as we ran into the Clemson men’s basketball team!

The hockey game was awesome.  I surprised Michael with some killer seats and I just don’t know if we can go back to the cheap seats!   The view was incredible (although it is colder when you get closer to the ice) and we were 2 rows away from food, beer and bathrooms!  You even had to show your tickets to get into the section that included the “priority lounge” with all of the vendors.  And the Hurricanes won, beating a playoff bound San Jose team.

What more can you ask for?

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
