What I Ate Wednesday (WIAW)

My What I Ate post.  And you get to join in on the fun.  Just click on the button to take you to the site and see what others are having.  Or add your own!  It will be Tuesday’s food.  Enjoy.

Breakfast:  Coffee, vitamins and cream of wheat.  This was pre-training session and it is not working as well as it used to.  Trainer Bryan says I need more protein before we workout.

Post workout snack was a Nature Valley Dark Chocolate PB Protein bar.

Lunch was chicken and vegetable potstickers.  I will try to show you the sides I didn’t burn.

Snack was a some snack mix (animal crackers, nuts and PB M&M’s), an apple and a nectarine.

Dinner was Jambalaya made with shrimp and turkey kielbasa.  And a Mich Ultra.

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.

  1. I haven’t tried the NV Protein bars yet. I love their regular old original oat variety. Happy WIAW!

    • Now I am hooked on the NV Trail Mix bars as well! A quick snack to grab on the go. Michael says I would keep him alive in a disaster cause I always have food in my purse!

  2. Hello, Just found your blog from Peas and Crayons WIAW! So nice to read your posts. I’m part of a childless (by choice) couple in their 40’s living in Vancouver Canada. My husband and I LOVE our friends kids and our nieces and nephews, but got married a bit later in life and decided it wasn’t for us. We dote on our cat and have a good life. I look forward to reading your older posts and getting to know you (and your animals!) more. Have a great Wednesday.
