What I Ate Wednesday (WIAW)

My What I Ate post.  And you get to join in on the fun.  Just click on the button to take you to the site and see what others are having.  Or add your own!  It will be Tuesday’s food.  Enjoy.

WIAW (Tuesday) was SO boring I don’t even want to show it to you.  Except maybe for my new, backup mug.

I have been diligently eating every 2 hours and have (so far) been happy with the results.  But since the food was boring (and I forgot to take any pictures), let’s talk about what I am trying to do today instead.

Breakfast will be the normal coffee and probably a protein bar.  Notice the new mug.  I couldn’t resist at Walmart (I was sent there for cold medicine and came home with mugs). Oh, and JENN – they finally had the Caffe Verona k-cups at Costco!  Of course, you get 56 for $34.99. The Caribou is 80 for $36.99.  You do the math!

Lunch will be egg beaters, turkey sausage and an english muffin with strawberry jam.

Snack will be an apple, an orange.

Dinner s going to be a pot roast, but I am looking for a new recipe.  I don’t want to do the normal throw everything into the crockpot type recipe.  I want something a little more sophisticated.  Complex.  Complicated.

I may try this recipe.

Enjoy your day!

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
