(Sloth) MIMOSA Sunday

I am bringing back Mimosa Sunday.  It has been a while, my bubbly citrus friend.  And I have missed you.

Last night we had a hockey game.  And the Hurricanes kicked Bruins ass AGAIN.  3rd time this year.  Now the poor Canes have to go straight to Washington to play the Capitals at 5.

I say we will do nothing today, but that is never true. NOTHING to me would be pajamas and the couch all day.  But I am sure there will be (at least) a trip to Costco.  I will have to come up with something for dinner.  I have an overwhelming urge for pancakes at some point.

What are you plans for today?  Do you ever have a day where you truly do nothing?

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.

  1. Yesterday was a day where I did nothing..well unless lazing on the couch watching movies counts as something! I think its good to have a day like that every now and then, especially if you are feeling run down or need a mental break 🙂
