Regarding: A Fresh Start

someecards.com - This year let's resolve to make better bad decisionsThat is always what I think of when I think of the New Year.  What do I want to start fresh with in 2012?  Not resolutions exactly, although I have a list of those as well. But what else do I want to get started with in a positive way?  Getting out of bed.  Focus on work.  A more structured day.  Better eating.

Well, I tried to start with a new stew recipe and ended up burning it.  Oops.  I had cereal for dinner instead.  I did get up this morning and get logged on to my work computer and ended up cleaning up all of my personal email in my work account.  Not too bad there.  I am working on my 10 minute crossword puzzle from my new paga-a-day calendar. But there 10 minutes seems to be about 60 of mine.

Do you have Resolutions?  I will share my resolutions in a post later this week.  Do you have other areas that you want to focus on?

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
