Sloth Sunday and Black Friday

Old Navy Black Friday Ads - Get 2011 Black Friday Ads for Old Navy

Does anyone else spend Sunday mornings watching infomercials and HGTV?  I did managed to put the sheets in the washer.  But the rest of the morning is a wash.  Hahahahaha.

Speaking of…do you participate in the Black Friday madness?  Did you know that the stores all “leak” their ads and you can find them on the internet?  I suggest looking here.  I may actually brave Walmart on Thursday night at 10pm for a set of Pyrex bowls.  They are about 70% off compared to Amazon.  And I thought it might be fun.  I don’t usually participate in Black Friday because I can’t get up that early.  But I can manage to stay up Thursday night.

Jambalaya for dinner.

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.

  1. MMMM jambalaya. I just got up, and we are doing the dog park today before it rains for 3 days straight. Watching an old movie on TCM. I have never done Black Friday, but I did do a Best Buy doorbuster deal for Rewards members to get a flat panel TV once with Charlie. We got it for over $1k off. I am always tempted, but yeah….that early the morning after Thanksgiving just never seems worth it. I feel badly for those who have to rush out to work right after their meals. Have fun today.
