What I Ate Wednesday (WIAW)

I am going to try this new (to me) What I Ate post.  And you get to join in on the fun.  Just click on the button to take you to the site and see what others are having.  Or add your own!

Yesterday was actually INCREDIBLY boring in terms of food as I am trying to overcome the vacation cookies.

Breakfast:  Coffee, vitamins, viactiv.  Won’t actually eat anything until after the gym. After the gym, I had lunch. It was 4 Trader Joes Taquito’s and some Chi-Chi’s salsa (I had already started when I took the picture).  A small victory here that I didn’t dive headfirst into the bag of tortilla chips while I had the salsa out.

Then I had a handful of jelly beans in the car as I ran some errands. I believe they were cherry, orange crush and pineapple.  Good thing I didn’t add more than a handful of the margarita’s jelly beans to the mix cause I have been throwing those suckers out. They taste way too much like tequila.

Dinner was Trader Joes Orange Chicken and Trader Joes Chicken Fried Rice.  It was pretty good and I forgot to take a picture because I was so wrapped up in watching last weeks Survivor .   And I ate these of course.

I haven’t decided what is on the menu for today.  EXCEPT that I have taken the plunge into overnight oats.  I am more afraid than excited.  I don’t usually like new things so I doubt this will be any different.  I will report back on that later.

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
