Seafood Watch: 3/5

Michael is now 3 of 5 possible meals on the seafood watch.  He rallied today with Fish Taco’s for Lunch and Oysters for dinner.  I had a burger for lunch and rallied later with a cobb salad.

Today was an exciting day, only because the dog got out of the yard and decided to run across a VERY busy road, twice, before Michael could get a hand on him.  A nice man in a truck helped out.  Phew.  Solo was unharmed but not in our good graces for taking off.  He was hit by a car before we adopted him and we have always had this chicken and egg debate about it.  Did he get hit by a car cause he is dumb? Or is he dumb because he got hit by a car?  We may have our answer.

We sat on the beach for a while (with the dogs pre-escape) and read.  That was awesome.  I got a better handle on the eating and water today.  And feeling better (shocker) as a result.  I know I can continue the trend tomorrow.  We may go see Ides of March while we are here.  Tonight, we are catching up on Top Chef!

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
