Featured Product: G2 Perform

You may remember this picture from my 14 mile run.  And I promised a product review (2 actually) and so here is the first one.

Here is some information I know you were all dying for: I am a salty sweater.  Now you know.  Down to the white streaks on the clothes and the crust near the hairline.  It has gotten bad in races to the point where I can’t bend my fingers and have to find salt at the finish line.

Enter G2.  I know that Gatorade has been around forever. I even know how it got it’s start (the sports trainers and doctors for the Florida Gators).  And I know there are a TON of other products out there that provide athletes with sodium.  But this one works for me.  It doesn’t upset my stomach.  I can drink it during my runs.  And since I started taking it with me, I have had no trouble with swelling or bonking.  I like the flavor (Lemon/Lime, Orange and Fruit Punch) and it is easy to find just about anywhere you go.

Gatorade also has Prime and Recovery as part of this series, but I am sticking to the Perform.

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
