Sloth Sunday and One Million Dollars

I had to see what $1 Mil bought in NC.  Apparently I don’t get it.

Yesterday, I skipped the Homecoming football game and instead went on the Parade of Homes.  It is two weekends each spring and fall that you can go and tour homes in different price ranges.  I only go for the ones that I can’t afford.

This house is listed at $1 Million Dollars.  And I don’t exactly know where they put the money.  The house is much bigger than it looks from the front but even the square footage doesn’t justify the price.

Now, another house had this and was only list for $500k.  Can you see what it is?  A built in dog “room” or nook.  This house was incredible all the way around, but I thought this was such an amazing touch.  I bet I loved this house because it was done in shades of light blue.  I am a sucker for anything blue.  The whole house would make my eyes pop.

Today is sloth Sunday.  It was a cutback week for me so no long run yesterday.  And today will be couch, football, maybe Costco (new coupons!) and/or JC Penny.  It is time to look for drapes to finish off the dining room and guest room.

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
