Product Review: Experia Cool Max Socks

I happen to live in the state in which Thorlo socks are made.  That is right sports enthusiasts….envy me!  Thorlo’s are made right here in NC.  And there is an outlet!  Grab the leashes, pack a bag and head on down.  I believe there is a Hampton Inn nearby so you won’t have to go too far with your heavy bags of socks.

I have long been a fan of ThorLo socks.  But last fall, it got even better. We stopped at the outlet on our way back from the Indian casino.  And I found these Experia socks.  I had seen an ad in Runner’s World, but never really thought to look for them.  But they looked interesting and I loved the colors, so I thought I would give it a whirl.  I have seen them priced anywhere from $13.99-$18.99 at Dicks or in specialty running stores.  $7 at the outlet, baby!!!  NOW envy me!

I love that they have cushion where you need it and none where you don’t.  The heel and toe have enough cushion to make my feet happy.  There is a mesh around the sides and top.  The rest of the socks lets your feet breath which I think has really helped on long runs.

And the best part?  The are COLOR-CODED.  So no more long, laundry nights of matching socks.  It’s like garanimals for socks!  The orange goes with the orange and the blue with the blue.  You get the idea.

About nfoste2245

I am approaching 40 and have been married since my early 20's. I have become more than a little frustrated with having to answer incredibly personal questions about my choice to not have children. It is apparently taboo to talk about religion and politics, but confronting me about my reproductive choices is fair game. It is not a choice I made alone, quickly or lightly. My husband and I made it together. I am not "withholding" children or grandchildren from anyone. There is an astonishing lack of understanding over the idea that it is an actual choice, to have a child or not. There is also an amazing lack of support, discussion and resources for those like me, that have made the choice. This is not a blog for kid-haters, or mocking people for having kids. It is a place where we can talk about living full lives, without kids, and without guilt.
