Monday Run/Food Update
I figured it was time to start being accountable to both my food choices and my training plan. I am currently training for any number of races, as follows:
9/16: 5k, 9/24: 10k, 10/22: Triple Lakes Trail Half, 11/13: OBX Half
So this morning, the gym workout was a treadmill 5k and then I did some arms and abs before I left. I was VERY happy with my treadmill effort. Tomorrow is
torture personal trainer day.
So lunch was a big, boring (but yummy) salad with 2 strips of bacon, an egg and ranch dressing. A side of crackers and a nectarine (welcome to my world of orange food).
And dinner was an exercise in yellow food. TO MY SISTER: Not orange, YELLOW. And still boring. Chicken, tsatziki sause, and a small potato with ICBINB. And a glass of wine. Has to be some indulgence in there somewhere. Wow, it is even uglier in the picture. All of my colored food was in the lunch salad.
And while we are on indulgence, my snack was a small bowl of animal crackers, PB M&M’s and nuts. That is an almost daily snack so pictures will come later in the week.
